MARXISM: Introduction

MARXISM: Introduction

Influence: Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel: 1770-1831
Karl Marx: 1818 – 1883
Friedrich Engels: 1820 – 1895

Marxism is an ideological opposite to the theories of John Locke and Adam Smith. When we look at who influenced the founding of the United States of America there is a clear distinction between the goals of Marxism and Individualism.

Marxism promotes a classless society with the development of communal organization which is governed by a democratically elected government. Once the government is elected then the politicians should be obeyed which diffuses liberties and freedoms at the will of a politician. The dilemma with this form of government is the possibility of political corruption and lack of accountability for politicians. It eliminates the fear of public backlash which should steer politicians into the public’s interest.

Individualism promoted by the philosophy of Locke and Smith is a system that sets the stage for personal accountability verses communal contribution. They both believed that personal wants and needs would promote liberty and freedom. The result of this is the layers of wealth amongst the people based on success and failure allowing the excellence of society to rise to the top in order to lead. The government is a civil service mechanism only there to serve not to attain power and wealth.

The philosophical dilemma in the communal Marxist model gravitates towards a fully authoritarian form of government while the individualist drifts more towards anarchy. The founding fathers were exposed to both ideologies and created the United States Constitution to prevent both of these extreme scenarios. A balance of powers along with a capitalistic economic system would anchor the United States in an Individualist society.

The key to understand the Marxist philosophy is to understand the transformation Marx and Engels believed would be a natural progression to communism. Feudalism, which was prominent for so many years at the time of the Marxist's fathers, would lead way to capitalism which inevitably would lead to socialism then to communism.

Understanding this transition is key to understanding where we are now on this sociological scale between Communism and Anarchy. If you can recognize our progression, you can understand how close we are to communism. Once you understand the fundamentals of Marxism, you will be able to see the infrastructure that has been assembled to bring American to the a place where our founders fought to keep us away from.

In the following entries, I will layout the key fundamental and strategically mechanisms the Marxist has designed and implemented to achieve a communal Marxist regime.

1. Unionism
2. Dialectic process
3. Atheism
