The Creating of Enviro-Socialism

Saul Alinsky is a hero to many Progressives, Socialist, Communists, and Marxists because of his philosophy of arriving at an end with the use of any means. Radical Environmentalism has become a valuable vehicle. It is undeniable that any sensible American cares to preserve the environment within reasonable means. The Progressive movement has used the vast majority of American sensibility and high jacked it with the intention of distributing wealth in the name of so-called progress. I would ask, “Progress towards what?”

The American people are a compassionate and intelligent people. A vast majority of Americans look to science and/or faith to justify their decisions. In order to develop a successful means to the wealth distributive ends, the Progressives needed a vehicle backed with science and something that could touch the heart of Americans. Environmental concerns are that vehicle.

With the forming of the European Union, the globalist Progressives reached an incredibly important milestone to forming one world government. Its biggest hurdle to complete the transformation was convincing the independent American people. In order to achieve this, they have to convince the American people to abandon the United States Constitution. This would not be an easy task. In order to convince the American people to abandon their governing charter, the Progressives need to simply deceive them until the end was reached while they remained a sleep. Sadly this attempt has been somewhat successful.

The History of Environmentalism

We must understand that environmentalism was not created during the sixties by the hippies. In fact the environmental movement was started by Germans during the rise of the Third Reich. (To read more about this, read “Radical 60’s Counterculture” ) The promotion of environmental issues has targeted in America; 2 groups of people. It has targeted the Baby Boomers of the radical 60’s and the children of this group. There has never been a better time in American history to steer America into socialist waters. With the product of the 60’s Counterculture at the prime of their life and children to influence, environmentalism has become its own religion. This religion is the Green movement.

The problem with the movement in its early stages during the 60’s was that it needed science to back it up. With the industrialization of America, radical 60’s Progressives saw that in order to de-industrialize they must create laws to suppress and oppress the advancement of industrial means. Its number one culprit was the automotive industry and later the oil industry. There was scientific thesis that a global ice age was possible. Noted in this 1974 Time article scientists noticed a 2.7 degree decrease in global temperatures since the 1940’s. This was the science that the “Enviro-Socialists” needed.

Throughout the 70’s and 80’s environmentalists attached many possibilities for this phenomenon. They attacked oil refineries, chemical plants, and automotive manufacturers. The federal government passed massive laws restricting these companies with café standards and pollution restrictions. It can be argued weather or not this helped with global environmental issues other than human contact to the pollutants. No sensible American wishes to see plumes of sulfur pumped into the atmosphere so these laws were passed without hesitation. Largely the manufacturers of automobiles, oil, and chemicals have made huge steps in protecting the environment.

Just like the civil rights issues of the 60’s, environmental issues have been a huge asset to the Progressive movement. Till this day, Progressives claim that there is a huge injustice in America with racism. Even though Barack Obama was elected to hold the most powerful position in the world, the Progressive movement still sites civil rights as a major issue of our day. Even though refineries, chemical plants and auto manufacturers have cooperated under the law to protect the environment they are still attacked continuously. These attacks are claims that these manufacturers are negatively impacting the environment but rather their intention is to de-industrialize the nation by suppressing them and their influence.

Now that pollution standards have been successful in preventing smog, acid rain and many other airborne pollutants, the well has run dry for the Progressives. They needed a new enemy. They needed to find something common in almost everything and was a primary by-product of industrialization. The culprit was Carbon Dioxide. There was science that showed a gradual increase in global temperatures which became a new vehicle. The winds then shifted for the Progressives as they were able to attach all of their enemies to one issue. The issue was “Global Warming”.

The Enemy List

In order to understand the argument for the Progressives and their intentions, we must understand the enemy list.

1. Oil industry
2. Chemical industry
3. Automotive industry
4. Coal industry
5. Utility industry
6. The American Consumer

They attack the producers of fuel and energy and the consumers of their products. These industries and the American Consumer make up a huge portion of our capitalist system. Unfortunately due to the cost associated with doing business in America because of environmental legislation, manufacturing is falling behind banking and service oriented industries. Manufacturers are moving to other markets where environmental restraints are less stringent. Unfortunately they are moving to other countries that have absolutely no environmental standards. This is common sense. Any intelligent person understands that the world is worse shape with this scenario.

The Claims

1. Oil refineries, chemical plants, coal plants, energy providers, and automobiles produce large amounts of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) which causes extensive increases in global temperature.

2. Americans’ desires for larger SUV’s promote higher carbon dioxide levels.

3. Americans’ demand for homes causes depletion of forested areas around the world which eliminates the consumers of carbon dioxide.

4. Americans’ reckless use of electricity promotes coal plant, nuclear plant, and oil plants to dump large amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

5. Americans that consume meat are promoting and supporting the breeding methane and carbon dioxide expelling animals for consumption.

6. Obesity and fatty foods produce excess carbon dioxide and methane gas in humans.

7. Over population causes increasing consumption which causes excess carbon dioxide to be expelled.

So in order to prevent this, Progressives propose, promoting non-existent, unpractical, and economically unviable alternatives to industrialized energy production. This is why Progressives support, suppressive CAFÉ standards to make larger vehicles less affordable. This is why the Progressive promotes ever expanding suppression of de-foresting. This is why Progressives support penalizing cattle owners and food producers with high taxes for theirs sins against the environment. This is why taking over Healthcare is such a priority. Progressives would be able to ideologically control our consumption and make us healthier. Lastly abortion and rationing would reduce populations with Healtcare.

In conclusion the Progressives believe the industrialization and over population of the planet is negative to the environment. This ideology is the same that is opposed to the Judeo-Christian belief that the Earth was a gift from God for us to develop and rule respectfully. Instead there is a demand to worship of the Earth. All of this is driven by the same progressive belief that if left in the hands of intellectuals, the human race can be perfected. Environmentalism is the belief that the intellectuals can make the Earth a perfect season-less and disaster-less world. It boils down to the intellectual elite being divine. They believe they are the issuer of rights, the Creator, and the all powerful.
