The United Nations
Founded: 1945
I wish to first start off with the lyrics of a song. It is Imagine by John Lennon. Yea I know… how nostalgic.
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Sounds pretty good huh? This is the absurd Utopian world that many around the world wish to create with the United Nations. Most people in America may look at the United Nations as a good international organization to be a member of. It is however extremely corrosive to the sovereignty and prosperity of the United States and the prosperity and future of freedom on Earth.
The aim of the United Nations is to bring unity, peace, human rights, and security to all countries around the world. Once again this sounds wonderful. How can anyone deny this as a good goal? I would ask the same question about universal health-care. How could anyone deny that health-care for everyone would be wonderful? I would ask what it would to take to achieve something so wonderful.
Let’s imagine Mr. Lennon that Jihadists would stop killing people in their homelands or here in ours. What is it that they kill for? What is the reason? Well it is pretty well documented that they kill for Allah or their God. How would you govern them? Maybe we could take away their beliefs. Let’s imagine that we can talk Mahmoud Ahmadinejad into believing that 6 million Jews were killed during World War II. Imagine if we could convince him that the United Nations isn’t a Zionist regime with the intentions of ruling the world. I would almost have trouble with believing that one. The fact is radical Muslims and radical Muslim regimes can not be trusted or bargained with and will go down in blazing glory before eating at the same table as a Christian leader. Imagine there was no heaven.
At what point will the United Nations decide that it is time to attack Iran and minimize the threat of nuclear war. At what time does the United Nations decide to invade Korea and eliminate its intentions of nuclear domination? At what point did any other nation within the United Nations lead in attacking Saddam Hussein’s tyrannical regime when they invaded Kuwait? At what time did the United Nations attack Afghanistan to defeat Al Qaida and the Taliban? It was always America leading the way. Why? It is very simple. America is a leader to all nations. It has in every respect. Americans are the most prosperous, ingenuous, charitable, open minded, and welcoming.
Although America is a leader to all nations, some countries and even some of our own citizens see America as imperialistic. The individuals that make these accusations often wish for diplomacy through the Untied Nations regardless of their lack of historical proof to back up the many failures of the United Nations. Was it the United Nations that took down the Berlin Wall without a drop of blood or was it the Untied States led by our great leader Ronald Reagan who convinced Gorbachev that the free market economy would save Russia? It was the echoing ideals of our founding fathers that reverberated through out Russia that tore down the Iron Curtain. Was it the United Nations that freed Iraq and set up democracy there? It was the design of a democratic republic which modeled that of the United States which ignited Iraqi freedom and the blossoms of their sovereign ingenuity.
The United Nations does provide a good democratic forum for countries to converse. It is however not the answer to world peace. World peace is led by example, not by force. Force is only necessary to protect freedom and is always the last choice. The UN could never make this decision because there are too many opinions from too may countries that have completely conflicting ideals. How can a country that is run by a radical Muslim regime that denies the holocaust and aims to wipe Israel off the map expect to have a democratic dialogue based on the interests of all nations?
So what is the aim of the United Nations? World Government is the aim. Sanctions have always been a good governing mechanism but have proven to have little effect on many countries. Saddam’s regime was a perfect example of that. Sanctions only work well with countries that have democratic leaders due to the political pressure that may result from a free people. This is however ineffective to tyrannical regimes for the political opposition will just be punished. With this dilemma, the United Nations must employ a more unified global governing mechanism.
The mechanism requires a more structured, more funded, and more cooperative world governing role. The unification of the world economy and laws would give the Untied Nations more power to control relations between countries. The only problem with this is the cooperating countries would have to sacrifice their sovereignty and adopt international standards and laws and possibly a World Constitution. Most importantly are the financial contributions that each country would have to contribute. The current UN effort is the Kyoto Treaty, which is a globalist socialist mechanism disguised as a Global Warming Treaty, would require $180,000,000,000 annually from the United States to participate. “Imagine there were no possessions.”
Once the Untied Nations implements world government, they will press the “Humanist” philosophy as a neutral ideology to bring all countries together. It is this that Lennon speaks of in his song “Imagine”. What would rise from the ashes of all the carcasses of national sovereignty would be tyranny. The only way to police this would be to punish the countries and people that wish to deviate from the Humanist ideology. This isn’t something that was dreamt up over-night. It was planned over decades and decades of Fabianism and Progressivism. “Imagine there's no countries.”
The only feature that keeps us away from global communism is the will of the American people. This will is being challenge every minute of every hour of everyday throughout the year. Americans will is being captured by the slow encroachments of government and the Progressive Machine that I hope to completely unveil to you. So search your heart and your American mind for the strength to speak out against these encroachments and bring people here to realize the Machine that has been hidden so well from the public eye.
